The Arduino UNO Rev3 is the most commonly used Arduino board. This board is suitable for both beginners and advanced users.

This is the original Arduino UNO from Arduino itself and the latest version (rev.3) with replaceable/interchangeable ATmel microcontroller.
The Arduino Uno is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328.
It has 14 digital input/output pins (6 of which can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz resonator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button.

The Uno contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power with an AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started (see additional articles).
