Capacitive touch sensor TTP229 with 16 buttons
Product information:
The TTP229 touch module offers 16 touch-sensitive keys on a single compact board. Thanks to the TTP229 capacitive sensor chip, the module responds quickly and accurately to touch, without mechanical buttons that wear out. Perfect for touch applications, control panels, DIY projects, and embedded systems.
The module operates at 2.4V to 5.5V, making it highly compatible with Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers. Configuration pins allow you to configure output mode, key output style, maximum output duration, and low-power/fast mode, among other settings.
Features:
- 16 capacitive touch keys (TTP229 IC)
- Works on 2.4V – 5.5V
- Adjustable output mode and sensitivity
- Low power consumption or fast mode selectable
- Onboard power LED
- PCB dimensions: 49.3mm × 64.5mm
Use with Arduino / Raspberry Pi:
Simply connect the module via the digital pins (or I²C-like mode) and read touch events using existing Arduino libraries or your own code. Ideal for touch controls, menu navigation, alarm systems, and interactive projects.
