Most of the I/O pins are routed to pin headers (26 pins) on both sides for easy interfacing.
Developers can connect these pins to peripherals as needed. Standard headers also allow
development easy and convenient when using a breadboard.
The development board includes a mounted ESP-WROOM-32 module that combines Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Bluetooth LE for a variety of diverse applications. This module is fully equipped with 2 CPU cores that can be controlled and powered separately, and with a Adjustable clock frequency (80MHz to 240MHz). By disabling the CPU, the energy-efficient coprocessor can be used to constantly monitor the peripherals for changes or exceedance of limits.
