Funduino Leonardo R3 ATmega32U4
Product information:
The Funduino Leonardo is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega32u4. It has 20 digital input/output pins (7 of which can be used as PWM outputs and 12 as analog inputs), a 16MHz crystal, a micro USB connector, a power connection, an ICSP header and a reset button. Everything needed to support the microcontroller is on board; Simply connect it to a computer using the USB cable or a DC power supply and start!
The Leonardo differs from other boards in that the ATmega32u4 has built-in USB communication, making a 2nd processor unnecessary. This allows the Leonardo to appear to the computer as a mouse and keyboard, and also as a virtual (CDC) serial / COM port. This also has consequences for the behavior of the board; read more about that on the Arduino.cc page.
This version has the header pins already soldered.
