The MQ-138 is a versatile gas sensor designed to detect formaldehyde, benzene, alcohols, ketones and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This sensor provides both a digital TTL output and an analog voltage output (0–5V), and is easily integrated with microcontrollers such as Arduino or other development boards.

Thanks to its wide detection range, the MQ-138 is suitable for applications such as air quality monitoring, environmental monitoring, indoor climate control, or as part of a simple VOC detector.
