I/O Expander Board PCF8574 8-bit I2C

Product information:

The PCF8574 IO expansion board is used as a remote 8-bit I/O expander for the I2C bus. Up to 8 boards can be connected to the I2C bus, creating 64 I/O ports.

The board has an I2C pin header on one side and a connector on the other side. This makes it very flexible to expand by connecting multiple modules together.

So per board you have 8 input/output connections that you can control with only 2 pins of the Arduino.
