With this 74HC238 IC you can easily increase the number of output pins of your circuit.
With 3 input pins you can control 8 output pins.

The 3 binary select inputs (A, B and C) determine which of the outputs (Y0-Y7) is made high. If enable input G1 is held low or if G2A or G2B is held high then the decoder function stops and all outputs go low.
