The DS1803 Addressable Dual Digital Potentiometer features two independently controlled 256-position
potentiometers. Control of the potentiometers is done by means of a 2-wire serial interface (I2C). Because each DS1803 gets its own address by setting 3 pins, you can connect a total of 8 DS1803s to a 2-wire interface. The setting of the potentiometer can be changed as well as read out.

This DS1803-010 has 2 digital potentiometers of 10KOhm that you can both set with 256 steps. Handy if you want a variable resistor in the project but can not always physically reach it (e.g. for calibrations).
