The board has an AS3935 lightning sensor and a MA5532 coil antenna. It is able to detect potentially dangerous lightning activity in the vicinity and provides an estimated distance to the center of the storm. It communicates with a host microcontroller via SPI lines and is designed to work with both 3.3V and 5V power.

Features:

- Lightning detector warns of thunderstorm activity within a radius of 40 km.
- Distance to the start of the storm up to 1 km.
- Detects flashes from both cloud-to-ground and intra-cloud (cloud-to-cloud).
