This lead-free solder consists of a special alloy of 95% tin and 5% antimony (Sn95Sb5). The addition of antimony makes the solder stronger, less susceptible to shrinkage, and therefore ideal for durable, reliable solder joints. Lead-free soldering is also more environmentally friendly and produces fewer harmful fumes during use.
The solder has a 2.5% flux core. This flux ensures good wetting of the solder surface and prevents rapid oxidation, significantly reducing the risk of cold soldering.
The product comes on a handy spool, so you can start soldering straight away.
