Optical water level sensor with cable of +/- 50cm. The sensor measures whether one or more of the sensor's surfaces are in contact with a liquid. For mounting examples, please see the article images. Connect the sensor to 5V according to the diagram in the last picture (resistors not included, see additional articles). The analog output can be connected to an Arduino, other microcontroller with analog input or a comparator.
