The MCU-055 BNO055 is an advanced 9-axis motion sensor with built-in sensor fusion. In a single compact module, this sensor combines a 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope, and 3-axis magnetometer (compass), supplemented by a 32-bit Cortex M0+ microcontroller that processes all measurement data internally.
Thanks to the built-in Bosch sensor fusion software, the BNO055 delivers ready-to-use orientation data immediately, such as:
- Angle position (Euler angles)
- Quaternion values
- Absolute orientation relative to the Earth
This means you don't have to program complex calculations or filters (such as Kalman filters) yourself.
Communication takes place via:
