This programmer is based on the USBasp design by Thomas Fischl and connects to your computer via a USB port.
The USB interface is controlled by the ATmega processor, the rest is done by the firmware.

Bits & Parts always supplies a 10-pin cable!

Some features:

- Support for AVRDude from version 5.2 (http://www.nongnu.org/avrdude/)
- Reading and writing microcontroller EEPROM, firmware, fuse bits and lock bits.
- Support for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows (also works under Vista).
- 5 KB/sec maximum write speed
- Software controlled SCK option to support targets with low clock speed (< 1.5MHz)
- 10 pin ISP interface
- Compact and elegant design.
