This GPRS shield is based on the SIM900 module from SIMCOM and is compatible with the Arduino. The shield gives you the possibility to communicate with the GSM network.
The shield allows you to use GSM, MMS, GPRS and audio via UART by sending AT commands (GSM 07.07 ,07.05 and SIMCOM enhanced AT commands). It is also equipped with 12 GPIOs, 2 PWMs and an ADC from the SIM900 module.
The SIM card goes into the SIM holder on the back of the module.
Equipped with antenna.
Supplied with additional power through a 5V jack power connection.
