The Sense HAT is an expansion board for Raspberry Pi, specially made for the Astro Pi mission – it was launched to the International Space Station in December 2015.
The Sense HAT features an 8×8 RGB LED matrix, a five-button joystick and includes the following sensors:
- Gyroscope
- Accelerometer
- Magnetometer
- Temperature
- Barometric pressure
- Humidity
A Python library has been created that provides easy access to everything on the board.
