Servo motor analogue Micro Servo 9g SG90 360°/continuous rotation
Product information:
Small motor in servo housing suitable for RC and hobby projects.
360° rotation. Type: TS90A
NB!
Unlike normal servos that can be driven to an exact position within a range of about 180 or 360 degrees, these servos will rotate continuously in both directions without the ability to lock them into a specific position. Think of them more as small DC motors with a built in motor controller that drives the motor and allows you to start/stop it and control the direction.
These types of servos are useful for driving wheels on a micro robot where space is limited or if you just want to make something spin.
These are controlled by a PWM signal. A pulse width of about 1500uS (PWM value of about 185) will cause the motor to stop. A higher PWM value above about 195 will cause the motor to rotate in one direction, while a lower PWM value below about 175 will cause the motor to rotate in the opposite direction. If the PWM value drops below about 500uSec (PWM value of 62), the motor will also stop due to insufficient drive.
