With this shield you can easily run your WeMos D1 mini on a battery. On the shield, which you press on the WeMos, you connect a 3.7V LiPo battery that can then be charged via the USB connection. During charging, the shield does not have to be removed.

A red LED indicates that the battery is charging.
A green LED indicates that the battery is fully charged.

By means of jumper J1 the charging current can be increased from 0.5A to 1.0A (make sure the battery supports this!).

Used pins to the WeMos:
- 5V (max.1A)
- GND

Supplied with loose header pins.

When connecting the battery, make sure that the polarity of the plug is connected correctly in relation to the shield.
