The CC2531 USB dongle is a complete ZigBee / IEEE802.15.4 transceiver / sniffer with an 8051 CPU and a USB interface in one chip.
This ZigBee CC2531 USB adapter stick/dongle is suitable for zigbee2mqtt.

The stick has a programming port and can be equipped with custom firmware that can serve as a ZigBee concentrator, for example. You can create your own ZigBee gateway and use it to control various devices such as lamps, temperature sensors, switches, etc.
