With this ACS712 sensor you can measure both alternating and direct current up to a maximum of 20A.
Suitable for measuring 230V mains voltage.

Connection voltage Vcc: 5V

The sensor module can measure 20A positive and negative. The output is 100mV per measured Ampere.

If no current is measured, the output is Vcc/2.
So at +20A the output will be Vcc/2 + 20 * 0.1 = 2.5 + 2.0 = 4.5V.
So at -20A the output will be Vcc/2 - 20 * 0.1 = 2.5 - 2.0 = 0.5V.

Attention! Connecting 230V voltage and measuring high current is at your own risk. Know what you are doing!
