The TMC2225 is the ideal successor to the popular TMC2208 stepper driver. It delivers the same performance, but with improved heat dissipation thanks to its HTSSOP enclosure. This makes the TMC2225 not only quieter but also more durable under intensive use.
Thanks to its simple UART configuration (via jumper caps instead of soldering), this driver is perfect for use with MKS Gen_L V2.0, SKR 1.3/1.4, and MKS SGEN_L, among others. It offers up to 1/256 microstepping for ultra-smooth and precise motor movements, ideal for 3D printers and CNC machines.
