This Low-Drop MCP1702-3302ET voltage regulator is characterized by its low power loss.

It can supply 250mA (200mA at output < 2.5V) of current while consuming only 2.0µA at rest. The supply voltage is up to 13.2V which makes it ideal for use with LiIon cells, 9V batteries and other battery powered applications.

The MCP1702 can deliver 250mA with a low dropout (difference between input and output) voltage of only 650mV. This allows battery powered applications to run much longer.

The MCP1702 voltage regulator is short circuit protected and has thermal protection for maximum reliability.

For stabilization use 2 pieces 1µF capacitors. (See connection diagram below the pictures.)
