This item is a breakout/adapter board for the A4988/DRV8825 stepper motor driver. It has a number of connectors that allow easy interfacing of stepper motor, power and control signals to the driver module.
Header connections are provided to allow for easy insertion and removal of the driver module from the breakout board.
Standard 0.1 inch headers provide a way to connect power and control signals (enable, direction, and step/clock).
A 4-way connector provides a solderless connection for stepper motors with JST XHP-4 type connectors, or alternatively pads are provided for directly soldering the motor leads to the breakout board.
Finally, a set of 3 DIP switches allows configuration of the microstep settings.
